Yujin's Teleport: How an IVE Fancam Glitched the Internet
Where the Looks Can Kill teleport came from, the numbers behind the fancam (1.53M and 1.44M views), why fans say the frames dropped, and four ways to remix it.

In this article
On October 21, 2026, a sixteen-second fancam of IVE's Looks Can Kill passed 1.53 million views, and the question under it was always the same: did Yujin just teleport? Here is where the clip came from, what the numbers say, and why people cannot agree on whether it is edited.
Where it started
IVE pre-released Looks Can Kill ahead of the EP. On October 18, the official eyebeam clip from @IVEstarship drew 112,562 views and 5,899 likes. On October 19 the group performed the song at a Spotify event, and one move from Yujin landed faster than the cameras seemed to follow. Fans started calling it dropped frames, a glitch, or a teleport.
The post that broke it open
At 08:40 UTC+8 on October 21, @SOUHAIT_0901 posted the sixteen-second fancam with a note to watch the eight-second mark. It reached 1,531,468 views and 4,917 likes. The move itself is short, which is why the cuts travel better than the full clip.
"Its not even edited"
The most-shared version is a five-second cut from @anyujinss2, captioned "its not even edited": 1,442,517 views, 7,865 likes and 1,129 bookmarks. A second camera angle from @pakeyyyyju added 267,238 views, and a 0.3x slow-motion from @anyujinswoman added 52,171, which is what people used to argue the frames really did drop. A Spanish meme saying idols now have to control time to debut picked up 8,286 likes, and the jokes comparing her to The Flash followed.
Over the last 7 days, "looks can kill" peaked at 100 on Google Trends, ahead of "looks can kill ive" at 54 and "yujin" at 31. The phrase "yujin teleport" itself barely registers in search yet, peaking at 6, which says the argument is still happening on X rather than in Google.
So is it edited?
Nobody outside the venue can settle it from a phone video. What is checkable: the fancam is a real recording of a real stage, more than one camera angle shows the same move, and the slow-motion is what kicked off the "it's edited" side of the argument. The AI versions are a different thing entirely, and those are obvious.
4 ways to remix it
- The solo teleport. You, center stage, same move, same glitch.
- The office exit. Caption it "me teleporting out at 5:59pm" and let the stage outfit do the joke.
- The slow-mo reveal. Post the clip, then reply with your own 0.3x version so people can argue about your frames too.
- The pet. One photo of your dog or cat, whole body in frame, doing the same dance on the same stage.
