TrendSwap (trendswap.app) is an AI trend-video generator. Upload one or two photos, pick a viral TikTok or Reels template, and get a watermark-free vertical MP4 with the scene's original audio already synced. One-time credit packs start at $9.90, credits on packs never expire, and failed renders return their credits automatically.

What is TrendSwap?
TrendSwap is a template-based AI video maker for viral meme and dance trends. Each template is a ready-made scene: the motion, camera work, prompts and original soundtrack are already prepared. You add your photo, and TrendSwap generates a video of you in that scene, so you don't need prompts, editing skills or a reference video.
Do I need to write a prompt?
No. Every template already includes its motion reference, scene prompts and audio. You choose a template, upload the required photo(s), pick a resolution and generate.
Is TrendSwap a face swap app?
Not in the usual sense. A face swap app pastes your face onto someone else's body in an existing video. TrendSwap generates a new video of the template scene with you as the character, built from your photo, so your face, hair and outfit come from your photo instead of being blended with the original performer.
Is TrendSwap the same as a motion-transfer tool like Viggle?
They overlap, but the workflow is different. Motion-transfer tools such as Viggle ask you to supply or choose a motion clip and usually return a silent or re-scored animation. TrendSwap works only with curated trend templates, and every output includes the trend's original audio synced to the action. If you want to animate a character to your own reference video, a motion-transfer tool is the better fit. If you want to recreate a specific viral trend quickly, TrendSwap is built for that. What templates are available?
TrendSwap has a growing library of curated trend templates across four collections: Meme, Dance, Pet and Duo. Current examples include Burning Bridges (the Drake banquet scene), Bulin 47, Hotel Lobby, Tiny Desk, Skull Cap, AI Dunk, iPhone Kupi Dance, Prilili, What Stop Sign, Looks Can Kill Teleport, Tesla Roadster Flip, Coldplay Kiss Cam, Sawadika Dance, Crazy Frog, Cat Clapping and Smalltown Boy. How often are new templates added?
New templates are released every week, based on the trending audio and formats on TikTok and Reels. New ones are listed at /templates.
Can I make videos with my cat or dog?
Yes, on pet-friendly templates. The Pet collection only lists scenes that support pets. Check whether the scene needs one photo or two.
Do I need one photo, two photos, or a group photo?
Each template states how many photos it needs. Solo scenes need one clear photo. Duo scenes need two separate photos, one person per photo: Photo 1 is the lead and Photo 2 is the partner. Don't upload a group photo.
What photo works best?
Use a sharp, well-lit, front-facing photo of one adult with the whole face visible. JPG, PNG and WEBP are supported. Sunglasses, heavy shadows, extreme angles or several people in one image make results worse.
Output
Does every video include the original audio?
Yes. Every video TrendSwap generates includes the template scene's original audio, synced to the action. You don't need to add music or line up the soundtrack in an editor.
Is there a watermark?
No. Every video is a watermark-free MP4, at every resolution and on every pack.
What length and format will I get?
Videos are vertical (9:16) MP4s for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. The length depends on the template, from about 6 to 29 seconds, and is shown on each template's card and page.
What resolutions are available?
480p, 720p and 1080p. 480p and 720p are available on every pack. 1080p is unlocked by the Trio and Party packs.
How long does a video take?
Usually about 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the queue. You can close the tab: track progress, play and download the finished MP4 in My videos.
Can I start on my phone?
Yes. TrendSwap works in mobile and desktop browsers. On desktop you can also scan a QR code to upload a selfie from your phone. A Chrome extension lets you browse trending templates and start a project from the toolbar.
Which languages does TrendSwap support?
The studio, templates, pricing and help content are available in English, Spanish (Español), Japanese (日本語), Korean (한국어) and Simplified Chinese (简体中文).
Pricing and credits
Is TrendSwap free?
Browsing templates and previewing the framing is free. Generating a video uses credits, which you buy in packs.
How much does TrendSwap cost?
Credit packs are one-time purchases:

Each video costs 25 credits at 480p, 50 at 720p and 100 at 1080p. Templates longer than 15 seconds, such as Tiny Desk and Smalltown Boy, cost 50, 100 and 150, so the examples above are for standard templates. The studio shows the exact cost before you generate.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. TrendSwap offers two ways to pay:
- One-time credit packs: pay once, no subscription, never renew, and the credits never expire.
- Optional monthly or yearly subscriptions: for frequent creators, saving up to 17%, and you can cancel anytime in account settings.
Pick whichever fits how often you post.
Do my credits expire?
Credits from one-time packs never expire. Subscription credit terms are shown with each plan.
What happens if a render fails?
You get the credits back automatically. If a job fails for any reason, including a timeout, a server error or a safety-filter block, the credits it used go straight back to your balance and you can retry right away. No support ticket is needed.
What if I don't like a finished video?
A completed video uses its credits. Results depend on photo clarity, lighting and the scene's motion, so check the framing preview before you generate. If a finished video has a serious technical problem, email support@trendswap.app with the video reference and we'll review it.
Can I get a cash refund?
Credit returns for failed jobs are automatic. Card refunds are handled by support for billing problems such as duplicate charges, a purchase that didn't reach your account, or a video that can't be delivered. See the Refund Policy.
How do I pay?
Payments go through Stripe. You can use major cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay. TrendSwap never sees or stores your full card number.
Privacy, safety and rights
What happens to my photos?
Your photos are used only to generate your videos and to let you resume your sessions.
- Uploaded photos are automatically deleted after 7 days.
- Generated videos are kept in My videos until you delete them, so you can download them again anytime.
- You can permanently delete any video, failed job or photo yourself, anytime.
- To delete your whole account, email support@trendswap.app.
Are my photos used to train AI models?
No. TrendSwap doesn't use your photos or generated videos to train, retrain or fine-tune AI models without your express permission. Rendering partners get only the image and generation settings, not your name, email or billing details, and are contractually barred from keeping or reusing them.
Whose photos can I upload?
Only your own likeness, another adult who has given explicit written consent, or your own child if you are their parent or guardian and the template supports it. Photos of celebrities, public figures, other people's children (under 18) or anyone who hasn't consented are not allowed. Breaking this rule ends the account and forfeits remaining credits.
Is TrendSwap safe and legitimate?
Yes. TrendSwap is a paid AI video service with:
- Stripe checkout, with no card data stored.
- A published Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
- Automatic credit returns for failed jobs.
- Email support at support@trendswap.app.

Can I use the videos commercially?
Your purchase covers generating the video. You own the rights to your photos and the generated clip, but a purchase doesn't grant rights to third-party music, footage, trademarks or other people's likenesses featured in a trend. For personal posts on TikTok, Reels or Shorts, follow each platform's music rules. For ads or brand campaigns, clear the audio and any third-party elements separately.
Is TrendSwap affiliated with the artists or trends featured?
No. TrendSwap is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the artists, rightsholders or creators behind the trends its templates are inspired by.
Is TrendSwap related to trendswapai.com?
No. TrendSwap's only official website is trendswap.app. We have no connection to trendswapai.com or other sites with similar names.

How do I contact support?
Email support@trendswap.app. Include your account email, the order or video reference, and a short description of the issue. We usually reply within 1–3 hours on business days (Monday to Friday, Hong Kong time, UTC+8).
