AI Video Tools With No Subscription: Pay-Once Credit Packs That Never Expire

Last checked: 30 October 2026 · By David Lee · Disclosure: TrendSwap is our product. We offer both one-time packs and optional subscriptions.

Many creators only need to produce one or two AI videos a month for a specific social trend or campaign. Yet most AI video platforms enforce recurring monthly subscriptions where unused credits vanish at the end of each billing cycle.

If you don't want recurring charges on your credit card, here is how one-time credit packs work, which platforms support them, and what to watch out for before buying.

Pay-once credit packs vs monthly subscriptions

How TrendSwap handles one-time packs

On TrendSwap (trendswap.app), one-time passes are first-class citizens, not an afterthought:

1. Credits never expire: Whether you use your credits today, next month, or in six months when a new trend drops, your balance remains 100% intact.
2. Accessible starting point: Single Pass starts at $9.90 for 50 credits, allowing you to create up to two complete standard 480p videos or one 720p HD video.
3. Automated failed-render refunds: If an upstream server error, GPU queue timeout or safety block occurs, the credits charged for that task return to your balance in 1 second automatically.
4. Subscriptions are completely optional: For high-volume creators who produce dozens of clips each week, we also offer optional monthly and yearly subscriptions that offer up to 17% savings and can be cancelled anytime with one click in account settings.

Key policies to verify before buying AI video credits

Before entering payment details on any AI video platform advertising "pay-as-you-go" or "one-time packs", always verify these three policies:

1. Do credits require an active subscription to be used?

Some platforms sell "add-on credit packs" that can only be redeemed while your monthly paid subscription remains active. If you cancel your plan, your purchased add-on credits are locked. TrendSwap one-time packs require zero active subscription.

2. What happens when a render fails or glitches?

Generative video models occasionally encounter prompt ambiguities, network timeouts or server load issues. Look for platforms with automated error rollback that return your credits immediately rather than requiring a support ticket.

3. Are videos delivered watermark-free?

Ensure that one-time purchases export clean, watermark-free MP4 files in full resolution. Every TrendSwap pack includes watermark-free downloads and pre-synchronized audio tracks.
