How to Make the Closed on Sunday AI Video (1 Photo, Pets and Any Choir)

The Closed on Sunday AI Video Generator recreates the viral closing scene of Ye’s (Kanye West’s) 2019 music video: on a sunlit hillside in Wyoming, one figure stands perfectly motionless with a calm, stoic expression, while hundreds of robed singers sway, clap their hands, and sing majestic gospel harmonies around them.

In October 2026, AI creators began putting someone new in the center—from pet kittens and puppies to corporate workers and Halloween skeletons.

What the Closed on Sunday AI Scene Looks Like

The video is rendered in 16:9 widescreen, honoring the original music video cinematography directed by Jake Schreier:

1. The Hillside Opening (0s–4s): The camera slowly tracks toward the center of a grassy, sunlit Wyoming slope. Hundreds of choir members dressed in flowing tan robes sway gently to the intro chords of "Closed on Sunday". In the dead center stands your subject—completely still.
2. Choir Handclaps & Harmonies (4s–9s): The choir lifts their hands, clapping in rhythmic unison and singing the soaring chorus. While the crowd bobs and celebrates, your subject remains completely unbothered, creating instant comedic contrast.
3. The Panoramic Crescendo (9s–14s): The camera executes a slow, majestic orbit, showcasing the massive array of singers and pulling in for a calm, heroic close-up of your face or pet.

Step-by-Step Creation on TrendSwap

Unlike manual green screen editing or complicated video splicing, TrendSwap delivers the finished 14-second scene directly from one photo:

1. Upload One Clear Photo: Upload one photo of yourself, a friend, or your pet looking toward the camera. Waist-up framing works best for people; clear face and ears work best for pets.
2. Choose Your Choir Style: Select your choir theme:
   • Original Tan Robes: The classic Sunday Service aesthetic.
   • Cat Choir: The viral kitten knight variation with robed feline singers.
   • Dog Choir: Singing golden retrievers, pugs, and huskies.
   • Halloween Skeletons & Pumpkin Heads: Creepy, comedic holiday variants.
3. Select Your Resolution: Default output is set to 480p SD for 25 credits (a $9.90 Single Pass covers 2 full videos). You can expand the controls anytime to select 720p HD (50 credits) or 1080p Full HD (100 credits).
4. Generate & Download: Click JOIN THE CHOIR. In about 2–3 minutes, your watermark-free 16:9 widescreen MP4 downloads with Ye’s original master song and choir handclaps synced.

Photo Selection Tips for Maximum Comedy

• A Calm, Stoic Expression: A serious, poker-faced expression creates much stronger contrast with the ecstatic choir than a wide smile.
• Contrasting Wardrobe: You are the only person on the hill not wearing tan robes. Dark, black, white, or vibrant streetwear stands out clearly against the crowd.
• For Pet Centerpieces: If your cat is ginger or cream-colored, use a sharp, high-contrast photo so their face remains distinct from the surrounding tan robes.
